Representatives from Regional DYW Groups in Glasgow and Edinburgh, MidLothian & East along with representatives of the Scottish Government will be holding discussions with colleagues from the Greater Manchester Combined Authority later this month. The focus of these discussions will be an examination of the different approaches to establishing successful school and employer partnerships, as well as other aspects of the Fair Work agenda.
On Thursday 20th June Scottish Government will be hosting a breakfast event in London to showcase Developing the Young Workforce to employers who are headquartered in London and South East England who also have a business interest in Scotland. This exciting, new event will be an opportunity to showcase the value and impact of DYW in Scotland for employers.
We are looking for two businesses in Scotland who have a committed engagement with DYW all the way through to employing MAs, to attend on the day (ideally with one of their young employees) and speak about their experiences. If you are an employer or you know of an employer that might be interested in speaking at or taking part in this event, please get in contact with Dale Innes at dale.innes@gov.scot
