A Message to Young People Receiving Their Results: #NoWrongPath

Well done to all young people receiving their results today. We hope you got the results you were expecting and are looking forward to the many opportunities which await you in the future.  
 
It is normal to feel a bit of uncertainty surrounding your future. We don’t know what’s waiting around the corner and when one door closes, another opens. Even when things don’t work out as planned, every experience contributes to your personal development and leads to something greater. Think of every experience like a stepping stone, leading you one step closer to your goal. ​

It is this mindset and attitude which created the foundations for DYW’s #NoWrongPath campaign. #NoWrongPath aims to inspire and reassure young people receiving their results in Scotland. We want to show you that there are countless opportunities available, and several ways to find and make the most of them.  
 
Throughout today, search Instagram, X (formerly known as Twitter) and Facebook for the #NoWrongPath hashtag. You will find stories from real people who have shared their career paths to inspire and reassure you that there is #NoWrongPath to achieving success. Everyone has a different story and a different journey, which is perfectly okay. 
 
Make sure you check out the official DYW Scotland X (Twitter)  and Instagram accounts to meet the team and hear about our diverse paths and stories. We will also hear from Sandy Begbie (Chair of DYW and CEO of Scottish Financial Enterprise) alongside Elma Murray (Deputy Chair of DYW, Chair of Young Scot, SRUC Board Member). 
 
Whose story would you like to hear? Tag your favourite celebrities and influencers on social media using the #NoWrongPath hashtag to convince them to get involved. Ask them what they done when they left school! 
 
Once again, whatever your results or circumstances, please remember that they do not define you and there is #NoWrongPath.
