What is #NoWrongPath?
Launched in 2017, #NoWrongPath is an award-winning social media movement led by DYW, which provides inspiration and reassurance to young people receiving their results. 

We recognise that some young people may feel disheartened by their results or current circumstances. We aim to demonstrate that many people in interesting job roles across Scotland may not have taken a straight, obvious or traditional path to get there - and that there is #NoWrongPath.

#NoWrongPath aims to show young people the options that are available to them and that results are not necessarily the key to unlocking future success.
How to Get Involved
Whether you have been involved in previous #NoWrongPath campaigns or this is your first time, there are plenty ways to get involved on Tuesday 6th August 2024 (Scottish Results Day):

Post a photo, or use our templates (see sections below).
Video
Record a short video or reel.
Text
Write a status/post or blog article.
Share your Career Journey
On Tuesday 6th August 2024 (Scottish Results Day), tell us your name, what you done when you left school and what you do now.

Print out and fill in the #NoWrongPath 2024 template below, and post a photo of you holding it.
Remember to include the #NoWrongPath hashtag to ensure your post is seen.

If you do not have access to a printer, you can write your own handwritten note or use the newly designed digital templates (see next section).
New Image Templates
If you do not have access to a printer, check out our new digital image templates which have been created in multiple formats to suit a range of social media platforms.
We have also created new prompts to keep things fresh for those who have already shared their career journey in previous years.
​To use the templates, you will need to sign up for a free Canva account (if you do not have one already).
Landscape (1920 x 1080)
This format is ideal for posting on X, Facebook and LinkedIn.
Square (1080 x 1080)
This format works best on Instagram, however, can also be used on X, Facebook and LinkedIn.
Portrait (1080 x 1920)
This format suits Instagram and Facebook stories, reels and/or TikTok videos.

Nominate a friend, colleague or family member to take part in the campaign and share this webpage with them.

#NoWrongPath Campaign - Top Posts and Highlights from 2023
DYW Scotland would like to thank everyone who participated in this year's #NoWrongPath campaign on 8th August 2023. Now in its  seventh year, the campaign aimed to reassure and inspire young people receiving their results on SQA Results Day (8th August 2023) by encouraging people to share their stories and experiences, showing that career journeys are not always linear and     that    there    is no wrong path to success. A total of 2,056 social media accounts took part, sharing a total of 4,778 posts. The campaign reached 6.8 million people, and made 21.4 million impressions. Here are some highlights from the day...
