What is #NoWrongPath?

Launched in 2017, No Wrong Path is an award-winning social media movement led by DYW, which provides inspiration and reassurance to young people receiving their results. This year’s Results Day is Tuesday 5th August, however, rather than focusing on just one day, we welcome you to get involved any time during the week of 4th-8th August 2025, giving you more time to take part in this wholesome campaign.

We recognise that some young people may feel disheartened by their results or current circumstances. We aim to demonstrate that many people in interesting job roles across Scotland may not have taken a straight, obvious or traditional path to get there - and that there is #NoWrongPath. The campaign aims to show young people the options that are available to them and that results are not necessarily the key to unlocking future success.

How to Get Involved

Whether you have been involved in previous #NoWrongPath campaigns or this is your first time, there are plenty ways to get involved from Monday 4th - Friday 8th August 2025:

Write a status/post or blog article.

Share your Career Journey

From Monday 4th - Friday 8th August 2025, tell us your name, what you done when you left school and what you do now.

Print out and fill in the #NoWrongPath 2025 template below, and post a photo of you holding it.

Download the printable template

Remember to include the #NoWrongPath hashtag to ensure your post is seen.

If you do not have access to a printer, you can use a handwritten note, post a selfie, image or video that reflects your journey.

Nominate a friend, colleague or family member to take part in the campaign and share this webpage with them.
Let your networks know that you are taking part in this year's #NoWrongPath campaign sharing our promotional images ahead of the campaign and asking your followers to look out for your posts from Monday 4th - Friday 8th August. Within the promotion pack, you will find social media graphics alongside #NoWrongPath logos (in case you would like to create your own designs).
