Traditionally, DYW launched #NoWrongPath as a one-day social media campaign, taking place on Results Day (Scotland only). This year’s Results Day is Tuesday 5th August, however, rather than focusing on just one day, we welcome you to get involved any time during the week of 4th-8th August 2025, giving you more time to take part in this wholesome campaign.
Sharing inspirational stories and career journeys over a longer timeframe helps reach more young people, giving them the opportunity to see your positive messages. If you are new to #NoWrongPath, DYW are very excited for you to feel the positive vibes generated from this inspiring social media movement. With #NoWrongPath dating back to 2017, many of you will already be familiar with the campaign. We hope you are equally as excited about getting involved to inspire this year’s new cohort of school leavers. Here are some reasons why you or your organisation should get involved: 1.Inspire the next generation: Young people are often unsure of what’s next. Your story could be the one that shows them there isn’t just one way to succeed. By sharing your career journey, you can show that paths can be non-linear, unexpected and still be successful, whilst providing reassurance that it’s okay to not have everything figured out. 2.Break down career stereotypes: By sharing real stories, you can highlight the range of roles and entry points in your industry, showing that skills – not just grades – matter. 3.Boost your brand as a youth-friendly employer: Getting involved can demonstrate your commitment to youth development, meeting corporate and social responsibility, and creating a sustainable workforce by investing in future talent. 4.Celebrate your achievements: Your journey is unique to you, and the positivity felt when celebrating your success feels amazing. By getting involved, you can feel positive about your professional progress thus far – raising awareness of your skills and talents. You are welcome to get involved using whatever method best suits you, or your organisation, whether that’s through posting an image, video or even a blog post! Get creative and share your journey however you feel comfortable. If you need inspiration or would like some help, we have a template sign which you can fill in and print out for the campaign. Find out more on the #NoWrongPath campaign page. No matter how you decide to get involved, please tag us (DYW Scotland) on Instagram, X, LinkedIn and Facebook so that we can see your post. You can also tag your local DYW Regional Group. If you would like support getting involved, please contact your local DYW Regional Group or, if you are a national employer, contact DYW Scotland. Make sure you stay up to date on all things #NoWrongPath by following us on our social media channels. So, whether you’re a long-time supporter or joining for the first time, we invite you to be part of this uplifting movement and help us remind young people across Scotland that there truly is no wrong path. Your story - no matter how simple or winding - has the power to inspire confidence, challenge perceptions, and spark ambition in someone just starting out. Join us during the week of 4th–8th August 2025 and let’s work together to show school-leavers that the future is full of possibility. Comments are closed.
