Applications Open for ConstructHER Programme: Inspiring Young Women into Construction

​DYW Edinburgh, Midlothian and East Lothian is excited to partner with GRAHAM to launch the ConstructHER Programme, running from October 2025 to April 2026.
 
This unique opportunity is aimed at young women interested in exploring a career in construction, one of Scotland’s fastest-growing and most dynamic industries.

 Participants will gain:

• First-hand experience across roles like engineering, design management, planning, and sustainability
• Insights into how different roles fit together within major projects
• A clear understanding of how to secure an apprenticeship
• A completion certificate to enhance their CV

 
Those who successfully complete the programme, demonstrate commitment, and achieve the necessary Highers may even be considered for an apprenticeship with GRAHAM or its subcontractors.

​An information session will be held on Friday 19 September 2025 to give potential applicants a chance to learn more before the programme starts in October.
