Events
DYW D&G host a number of employer events.  These are free to exhibit at and simply get in touch if you wish to attend. Below are a selection of events planned. 
Open doors
​23rd September 2024, Dumfries
These events are in partnership with the Department of Work & pensions (DWP) / Job Centre Plus and are held about 3 times per year, within The Bridge, Glasgow Road, Dumfries. They are free and open to any business within Dumfries and Galloway who are actively recruiting. The event is open to members of the public and DWP clients and is free to attend.

Bridge to your Future
​20th November 2024 
This careers event is run by DYW on behalf of the four Dumfries Secondary schools (Dumfries High School, Dumfries Academy, North West Community Campus and St Joseph’s College).  Held every November in the Bridge, Glasgow Road, Dumfries the event attracts local employers and is aimed at S4 – S6 secondary school pupils. If you would like to get involved please get in touch.​
Bang Goes DG
21st May 2025 
​Bang Goes DG is the largest one-day STEM event in Scotland and takes place every May within the Easterbrook Hall, Dumfries.  The event is open to S1 – S3 secondary school pupils and D&G College students. We host over 40 business' on the day - would you like it to be you? If so get in touch.
