Digital technology skills continue to be in high demand, and there is a prime opportunity for employers to widen their talent pool. All businesses and organisations need digital skills and knowledge to survive. In Scotland there are over 76,400 people working in the digital technology sectors like creative industries, sciences and the environment. By 2024, the workforce is expected to grow by 5,300 people. |

Tech industry in Schools - Toolkit
DYW and a number of partners collaborated with Skills Development Scotland to create the 'Tech Industry in Schools' toolkit. The toolkit is designed to aid employers in discussing digital skills, technologies and career pathways with young people.
