The creative industries include some of Scotland’s most diverse and growing sectors, covering jobs relating to design, photo/videography, advertising, architecture, fashion and textiles and more.
Many people who work within the creative industries are either self-employed or work on a contractual basis. There are around 15,505 creative businesses employing 94,500 people in Scotland. By 2024, an additional 6,800 jobs are estimated to be created. |
